Overview
Inherent offers subscription-based software services and digital products. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available and when they are not.
By purchasing or subscribing to Inherent, you agree to this policy.
Short version: You get a 7-day window. After that, no refunds.
7-Day Refund Window
All new subscriptions (monthly or annual) are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase only.
To qualify:
- The refund request must be made within 7 calendar days of purchase
- The account must not show abusive, excessive, or clearly non-evaluative usage
- The service must not have been used in violation of our Terms of Service
Once the 7-day window closes, all payments become final and non-refundable.
After 7 Days — No Refunds
After the first 7 days:
- No refunds are issued for monthly subscriptions
- No refunds are issued for annual subscriptions
- No prorated refunds, credits, or partial reimbursements
- Cancellation stops future billing only
This applies regardless of usage level, business outcomes, or internal changes on your side.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You retain access until the billing period ends
- Cancellation does not trigger a refund after the 7-day window
Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are not issued for:
- Requests made after 7 days from purchase
- Partially used billing periods
- Annual plans after the refund window
- Custom work, consulting, or professional services
- Accounts suspended or terminated for policy violations
- Third-party fees, taxes, or payment processing charges
Refund Request Process (Within 7 Days Only)
To request a refund:
- Email support@inherent.systems
- Use the account email tied to your subscription
- Include your purchase date and a short explanation
We review refund requests within 5–7 business days.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take 7–14 business days, depending on your provider.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first:
- Your account may be immediately suspended or terminated
- We may dispute the chargeback with supporting evidence
If something feels wrong, talk to us first. We're reasonable.
Exceptional Cases
We get that edge cases happen.
If something truly exceptional occurs within the 7-day window, contact us at support@inherent.systems. We'll review it case by case—but nothing here guarantees an exception.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes take effect immediately when posted. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated policy.
